We check the swoosh shape and the stitching around it. A misshapen swoosh or uneven, sloppy stitching is one of the clearest signs of a fake.
Insole print and glue
We inspect the insole print quality and how cleanly it is glued down. Genuine pairs are neat, while replicas often show excess glue or off-centre prints.
Box label and SKU
We verify that the SKU on the box label matches the actual shoe, colourway and size. A box SKU that does not match the shoe is a major red flag.
Tongue tag fonts
We compare the tongue-tag fonts, sizing layout and details against genuine references for that model and release.
Materials and smell
